Audeze LCD Leather Headband

I recently got a pair of used LCD-2 Closed Back and needed a fresh vegan suspension strap. Got in touch with Jin at Turbulent Labs to try to work something out, despite that there was only the genuine animal leather version available.

Thankfully TL were open to trying to make it work with vegan materials as well, so I managed to get a custom order for a strap made!

Hopefully this will be a future option through the shop as well, from my understanding it’s a work in progress trying to find the right combination of materials that will withstand the durability test.

Regardless of future availability, im absolutely stoked on the strap. It arrived within 2 business days after shipping (which is pretty crazy, because I live in Norway, and TL is based in Malaysia, as far as I’m aware)

The comfort is on another level with this strap. You can easily do 5-6 hours of use without any hotspot problems at all. At least that was the case for me.

Full score across the board. Definitely recommend. Will be back for a new one when needed 100%.

Wanted a nice leather suspension strap for my new LCD-XC's. Sent in an order to Jin for custom wrist rest and the headband, he very quickly replied to me. He made the two custom wrist rest and shipped them and the headband in less than a three days. I received all three in less than a week! He even threw in a leather coaster at no extra charge.

The quality of the headband is great. It looks beautiful and feels really nice. It sits just low enough that it doesn't touch the top headband and cause a hotspot which is a problem with the stock Audeze suspension bands. Highly recommend not just for the quality of the products but also the customer service. I really hope he someday decides to make earpads for the LCD headphones using the same leather.
